About the Album
For Colorado-based tenor great Keith Oxman, the term “Home” evokes family, memories, and music. Oxman shows the world that inspired his classic tenor sound on his tasty new record, which features guitarist Clind Dadian, trumpeter Derek Banach, bassist Bill McCrossen, and drummer Todd Reid. Many of the tunes are named after special moments, family members, or mentors. “The Jazz Brothers Visit Curtis Street” is a fantastically hard-swinging track that showcases Oxman’s gorgeous tone, succinctly and pointed solos from most of the band, and the rhythm section’s fearless drive.
