About the Album
Liz Cracchiolo gives “Tainted Love” a smoldering jazz makeover, setting the familiar melody against a sexy groove and a driving beat. The arrangement then shifts into a Latin feel, with Erica von Kleist’s flute dancing over the rhythm and adding a playful counterpoint to Cracchiolo’s vocals. The rhythmic shift builds on the track’s simmering tension, giving this familiar song a seductive new character.
