About the Album
Percussionist-composer Adam Rudolph continues his lifelong quest for new sound and meaning with the debut of the Sunrise Trio with Alexis Marcelo (acoustic piano, electric keyboards, melodica, percussion) and Kaoru Watanabe (flutes, taiko, vocal, electric koto and processing). “Stumbled Upon” showcases these three virtuosos as they make a one-of-a-kind sound out of both acoustic traditional instruments from Japan, Africa and Europe as well as electronics.
