About the Album
"Stay Easy Bro" features the full sextet of the Julian Hartwell Project and showcases the groups signature approach to groove-based straight-ahead modern jazz. Composed and arranged by Julian himself, this track also features a rare performance of the bandleader on rhodes in contrast to the customary acoustic piano found on the rest of the album. As an all-original debut effort this first release by 'The JHP' promises a bright future as an emerging new voice in the groove-jazz spectrum.
