About the Album

Witness is the first single from the second Sam Pilnick Project EP, "Pure Imagination". Written by Meghan Stagl and arranged by Sam Pilnick, this track explores the feelings of being lost in "mid-day dreams and fantasies" while navigating the often complex difficulties of the modern world. "Pure Imagination" continues to explore the growth and projection of the Sam Pilnick Project as each member progresses through their musical careers, as well as reflects upon the socio-political climates of the past few years. This fantasy we all live in of smartphones, social media and fake news can discourage us from continuing to grow, create art and be kind and thoughtful people. "Pure Imagination" helps us to reflect on these ideas and continue making music and art that we enjoy and love.
