About the Album
“Procida” is the first original composition ever by Ollendorff-La Sorsa. The tune - with music by Ollendorff and lyrics by La Sorsa - pays homage to the Italian island of Procida. With a dreamy and intricate melody and simple but effective lyrics (which also pays homage to Italian singer and songwriters Lucio Battisti with the verse “a dip where water is more blue..”), Ollendorff-La Sorsa allow the listener to visualise the characteristic beauties of the places: the crystal clear sea, the sunset, the ships docked at the bay and the streets of the port, in a synesthetic musical journey, between dream and reality.
