About the Album
This unique and energetic Brazilian choro-ish tune was inspired by my cat Tsuki's fearless sense of curiosity and play. Though it has elements of traditional Brazilian choro, it doesn’t follow the traditional form! It also reflects a dedication to following my own creative curiosity and joy - a return to creative joy and trusting the process, after the pandemic lockdown phase. I originally wrote it as a piano piece, then arranged it for piano, flute, and pandeiro for the recording, which perfectly captures the cat-like silliness within interesting melody lines and a choro groove.
