Macondo is the second album on Un Mundo en Soledad, which is a tribute to Nobel Prize winning author Gabriel García Márquez's novel, Cien Años de Soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude). This track presents the magical world of Macondo, where the fantasy and reality become as one. This Son Montuno truly embodies the essence of Macondo and sets the stage for the entire story that unfolds throughout the duration of this album.
