Sallet’s alto saxophone weaves through this percussive storm with lyrical precision, while Michel Molines anchors the piece on double bass with subtle tension and pulse.

Rather than imposing a strict compositional framework, “Instinct 4” thrives on interplay—each musician responding in real-time to the evolving texture.
