About the Album

I started this tune with what's call ECM drums. It's free form drum playing with no regular beat. Although it can still be with a time signature like 4/4 in this case. As you can hear it didn't stay that way. But after I came up with the main sections on the piano I gave it to the drummer and told him not to play too much of a straight beat. I told him he could mess around a lot. He of course had to come up with something regular but if you listen he also takes a lot of freedom to do some unusual playing. Otherwise I named it this because it sounds like something that could be background music for a sunrise. In fact I may make a video of some kind with this idea in mind
