About the Album
This Jazz Dectet is an extended band, with its genesis in the John Montesante Quintet. Here the band got together and recorded some of John's arrangements, and subsequently has performed in concert on many occasions. Elly Hoyt, one of Australia's upcoming jazz vocalist sang this standard for the 'project'.
