Estrellita is the beagle next door. We love her, but she often hangs out (and barks) across the fence that's next to my music room. It was touchy getting two minutes of quiet. Rhythm guitar with single note lead added on a second track.

These are selections from the Daily Two, a January 2026 exercise in songwriting and home recording. I and a small group of Nashville musicians agreed to compose, record and post two minutes of music to our "Daily Two" private website every day for a month. On January 24th the city was hit by an ice storm that knocked out electricity all over the city, so our month was reduced to about 3 weeks. I posted 21 pieces of music, 12 that I feel are complete and "sharable". They include 7 instrumentals. Everything was recorded with two mics, a Rode NT1 and an AKG C3000, using GarageBand. Mokka is our fantastic new dog. She came to us on December 30th.
