About the Album

The brief "El Mapa de las Nubes" functions as a companion to "El Mapa de las Olas," but where the earlier piece moves like water, this one hangs in the air. It gathers and disperses quickly, a miniature weather system of attack, resonance, and decay. The track's importance is structural. It prepares the final expansion by making instability feel not like an interruption, but like architecture. In less than three minutes, the trio shows that a short piece can function as a hinge, shifting the album from inward abstraction toward outward ignition.
