“Dispidida” is an instrumental reinterpretation of a song by Cape Verdean composer Orlando Pantera, recorded as part of Cabo Verde Sessions, a live studio project by Argentine guitarist Gonzalo Esteybar and his modern jazz quintet.
The arrangement preserves the song’s original lyricism and emotional depth while opening space for subtle reharmonization, collective interplay, and improvisation, led by a restrained, melodic guitar approach.
