This subtle swing-style single brings together an exceptional lineup. Front and centre is vocalist Larissa Eddie, delivering a poised and resonant performance that sits comfortably within the great tradition of jazz-inflected seasonal ballads. Best known for touring with Lionel Richie and Tito Jackson, Larissa has also appeared as a talent judge as part of ‘The 100’ in the BBC One show All Together Now.

Internationally renowned saxophonist Paul Booth (Patchwork Project, Gregory Porter, Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood band) contributes a lyrical, elegantly phrased alto sax solo that evokes the classic small-ensemble tradition.

The song is produced and arranged by Michael J McEvoy, whose extensive career across jazz, soul, film, and contemporary production (see below) informs the track’s warm harmonic palette and authentic classic-jazz feel. McEvoy also performs guitar, keyboards and bass, crafting a sound world that is both nostalgic and fresh.
