About the Album
The title track, Boomerang, is a toe-tapping boogaloo featuring joyful and inspired soloing from the leader, Boniwell, on piano, Kevin Turcotte (trumpet) and Richard Underhill (drums). Mike McClelland adds a stop time drum chorus and Mark Cashion's acoustic bass drives the whole tune forward with a relaxed intensity.
