About the Album
In 2023 I released a Gt/Bs album in which the bassist played most of the melodies, and the guitar and bass were on equal footing. The album was titled, "A Place for Bass - Chamber Jazz Duets" and the name of the bass player is Mason Daugherty. I sometimes called him "Bassin' Mason," and given that this song has a Bossa feel, the song title was born!
