Bot, Search and Survey Update: Bot, Search and Survey Update
We hope you're having fun with DIG 9000, AAJ's very own chatbot. If you haven't had the chance to ask it a question yet, now's the perfect time to jump in. DIG is designed to learn and improve every day, so the more you interact with it, the sharper and quicker it becomes.

We've been keeping an eye on your chatbot questions and are tweaking both the chatbot and the website based on your feedback. For example, many of you wanted to know how to update your full name on your member page. Previously, and due to security reasons, we prevented this change but we developed a new solution so you can now change your full name to whatever you like.

More good news...

We've also heard your request for a faster search option. Now, when you click on SEARCH, you'll see a handy new window where you can search by word, name, or phrase (like a tag). We've also included an "Advanced Search" link right there for you. And for those of you who prefer a Google style search, we've added a Google search box to the Advanced Search page. Give it a go.

All these updates, including the new chatbot, are designed to help you find exactly what you need with ease and maybe even uncover some exciting new finds along the way. AAJ might be a big site, but these fresh changes are all about making your experience smoother and more enjoyable. Happy exploring.

Two Questions; Two Answers

Thanks to everyone who completed the survey, "Is it easy to find what you are looking for at All About Jazz?" We contacted a dozen members who said they struggled with navigation and we implemented their suggestions to improve their experience. Keep in mind, you're an email away from having your voice heard. If you have an idea to improve AAJ, by all means, contact me. We listen, we take action and the platform improves as a result.

Currently, All About Jazz accepts credit card payments and PayPal payments for fund drive donations. We want to know if you have a go-to payment method (e.g. Apple Wallet, Venmo, Zelle, etc.) for online purchases. Please answer this one question here.

Our new survey concerns Twitter

We're curious to know if fans use Twitter to discover new jazz or follow jazz musicians or if jazz musicians use Twitter to promote themselves and their music? Let us know. Yes or No is all it takes. When Twitter rebranded as X they broke various plug-in code that appeared on our website which took time to remove. We would prefer to remove all connections to Twitter from All About Jazz but won't if linking to it is still important to you.
