Album Description

“Welcome to the Bright Side,” is an uplifting tribute to Axon Radio's longtime friend and collaborator, saxophonist Andy Kellogg. The track carries deep emotional weight for the band, following Andy’s unexpected passing just three weeks after their previous single, “Parkside Drive,” became Axon Radio’s first-ever song to reach #1 on the Urban Influencer chart.

Andy’s musicianship and friendship left a lasting impact on the band, making the creation
of this follow-up single both a celebration and a farewell. To honor Andy’s legacy, the band
enlisted acclaimed saxophone artist Jeff Ryan, whose expressive tone and signature style
bring new life to the current release. Known for his chart-topping Smooth Jazz hits, Jeff’s
performance captures the spirit of Andy’s sound while adding a compelling dynamic of his
own.

“Welcome to the Bright Side” also includes performances from guitarist Joel Del Rosario
and rising violinist Nathan Klatt.
