Album Description
Saxophonist/composer Matthias Van den Brande is causing a stir. In the summer of 2022, his trio with won the 'Grand Prize' at both the B-Jazz Contest (Gent Jazz Festival) and the Tremplin Jazz 'Concours Européen' (Avignon Jazz Festival). Last June he showcased at inJazz and played the Bimhuis. Matthias just turned 30 and is happy with where he stands. Now he is releasing “Three Sides of a Coin” with his friends Tijs Klaassen on double bass and Wouter Kühne on drums.
