This release captures the full scope of Kevin Metzger and Jared E. Davis’s radical collaboration; a language of pure intervals, sculptural rhythm, and total improvisational trust. From the explosive precision of Four Seconds to the fractured homage of Freddie Freeloader, from the set-theory reharmonization of Bach’s BWV 780 to the mirrored structure of Composition #1, each piece reflects a unique application of their shared system of intervallic logic.
