Spectaculous is a boundary-breaking collaboration between Atlanta rapper/vocalist Dequadray and Madison’s experimental jazz ensemble Mr. Chair. Their self-titled debut fuses jazz’s improvisational freedom with hip-hop’s rhythmic storytelling, pulling from the lineage of Digable Planets, Guru, and Del the Funky Homosapien while pushing boldly into new sonic terrain.
