The “Solera” LP is released on Djungel & Jazz and presents a quietly focused jazz terrain suffused with ambient elements, emerging from studio recordings in Stockholm (2024–2025). The LP comprises eight to nine compositions, including the title track “Solera” and the extended “Hakone,” combining his piano and synthesizer playing with acoustic and electric ensembles to shape a calm, atmospheric sonic world.
For the sessions, Sebastian Andreu Bergström gathered fellow musicians from the Swedish jazz scene and orchestral circles: Ville Bromander on double bass and Höfner bass, Matilda Andreu Bergström on flutes, Lars Åhlund and Fride Hanberger Jarnheden on saxophones, Sara Sissay on voice and samples, and Ola Winkler and Andreas Petterson on drums and percussion. Bergström is responsible for compositions, arrangements, and mixing; mastering was handled by Niclas Lindström at Atlantis Studio (December 12, 2025). Cover and artwork by painter Elin Odentia, photography by Niclas Lindström.
