Album Description

The Nitro Jazz Ensemble was born circa 1990. It featured hard edged versions of Miles Davis and other tunes on electric guitar...
Over time, new vibes took influence, and the sound morphed into a much smoother sound, with acoustic guitar leading the way. On this album, Richie creates string orchestrations, grooves, and some popular tunes to different spaces and places, and includes one of his own songs.
The album was almost finished in 2006, when a major computer crash killed the whole thing, so there it sat for twenty years. New technology has allowed us to retrieve the album and do the finishing touches at last.
The album is due out at the end of October, all going well.
Originally we were hoping for it to be ahead of its time... now it will be a snapshot of what we were thinking then..

A second album was started about the same time, and sufferred the same fate.We will be working that one up next, so all going well we will both albums out there where they belong before too long...
