Album Description

Writing this new album, 'Original Love' is my creative response to journeys in Central and South America. A few years back my life changed dramatically, My band Sirius B, my partnership, my home and the recording studio in it....all came to an end. Set adrift on a new continent I discovered new ways of being and different ways of looking at our world. Life isn't always straight lines; taking time to enjoy the 'pura vida': respecting people from all countries and walks of life. The muse returned through these songs, they are the reflection of the joy, inspiration and healing that I rediscovered. I returned home with nothing but this music.I passionately believe in the miraculous power of each of us to overcome the dark difficult stuff that enters our lives, physical, mental, political.... I'm trying to focus on the light. And the title tells you where I'm coming from! I formed my new group Global Wave on my return to the UK. The wave part is inspired by my love of surfing; music is a wave form; we all are!
