Album Description

One Evening in July - is Marína Ósk's second solo album. Released on TengTones in August 2022, it has been very well received. The album showcases Marína Ósk's Swedish/Icelandic drum-less quartet, inspired by an album by Chet Baker, "Embraceable You"; one of Marína's all time favourite albums. The compositions and lyrics, mostly written by Marína Ósk herself, showcase Marína's passion for the melodic vocal jazz, the West Coast jazz and the American Songbook.
