Album Description

The album Odpowiednio Wyraziste by Aiskander represents a natural stage in the artist’s creative evolution. A retrospective look at his earlier releases reveals a coherent artistic trajectory—one that ultimately leads to his current, fully original work rooted in instrumental jazz-funk and jazz fusion.

Much of Aiskander’s fifth album has already been unveiled through six previously released singles, serving both promotional purposes and as an introduction to the album’s distinctive musical language. At the same time, the artist is actively developing his next project. The forthcoming sixth album will remain grounded in a jazz-funk aesthetic while placing a stronger emphasis on reharmonized brass and woodwind sections, including baritone and tenor saxophones, trumpets, and string instruments of the violin family.

The new material will highlight Aiskander’s preferred harmonic voicings, a deep groove driven by slap bass, syncopated rhythmic structures, and the use of irregular, compound meters and polymeter. Particular importance is placed on natural sound, tonal color, and overall sound quality.

Alongside these elements, the artist has begun incorporating contemporary techniques commonly found in mainstream jazz and pop music—such as mashups and advanced graphic and parametric equalization techniques—treating them as musical instruments in their own right. At the same time, he continues to draw from the language of tradition, weaving established motifs and phrases into an original and consistently evolving musical vocabulary.
