Album Description

MY SOUL is Shoketta’s 2014 album, recorded in New York and produced and arranged by bassist Richie Goods. Drawing from jazz, soul, R&B and gospel, the album presents Shoketta’s interpretations of songs including “Summertime,” “This Masquerade,” “Fields of Gold,” “Someday We’ll All Be Free” and “Walk With Me, Lord.” The recording features Richie Goods, Andy Ezrin, Clarence Penn, Nozomi Yamaguchi, with guest appearances by Stacy Dillard, Daniel Sadownick and Francis Liu.
