Album Description

The recording of a new album, MOOD INDIGO just released, is being produced entirely by a long- standing Belgian label that has produced many major artists: "September" - Hans Kusters Music.

The album features a series of original pieces composed by Filippo Bianchini,
with the exception of one by the great Duke Ellington, which also gives the album its title: "Mood Indigo."

The band, Filippo Bianchini's main quartet, brings together some of the best musicians of the new generation, residing in various European capitals.

On piano, we find Nicola Andrioli, one of the best pianists on the European scene;
Armando Luongo, a superb drummer; and Igor Spallati, one of the best double bassists on the Berlin scene.Together for over 10 years, they already have three albums to their credit, all produced by the long-standing band "September."

It cleverly takes you through different harmonic and rhythmic landscapes all tied together by a lyrical singing melody, my favorite type of song.
