For his second studio work, Bar Tritolo, the reckless trio founded and directed by drummer Nelide Bandello, expands its staff. Enrico Terragnoli's proteiforme guitar is flanked by that of Giancarlo Bianchetti, equally rich in imagination, irreverence and fun. Compositions flow in the wake of a writing that draws on anti-heroic rock and some crepuscular punk, dissolves them in psilocybin and filters everything through an improvisational attitude of jazz espertise. The result is nine enjoyable original tracks weirdly titled and an uninhibited reinterpretation of an orchestral piece written by Francy Boland, all united by a tender abrasiveness and tinged with desire.
