pianoAlbum Description
Here it is: the first live album by Das Ende der Liebe. At every concert, the band interacts with the concert space and the audience; it is this interplay that shapes how the music sounds and where it goes. Four musicians, improvised, psychedelic club music with a heavy forward drive. Live at MS Stubnitz 2024 was recorded on November 14, 2024, aboard the MS Stubnitz in Hamburg, a ship and cultural venue made of steel in the harbour. The album contains the entire concert, divided into seven parts: one evening, one continuous arc. Guitar, vocals and sampling, bass and Game Boys, drums and the Yamaha CP70 weave in and out of each other; beats are processed and reshaped live, motifs emerge, disappear into reverb and return a few minutes later as grooves. Released on Anunaki Tabla as AT-024.
