Jazztronicus is jazz pianist and composer Scott Routenberg's second electro-acoustic jazz album, combining programmed beats and grooves from around the world with found sound sampling and jazz improvisation from fellow students at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, many of whom would go on to make names for themselves in the jazz world, including violinist Billy Contreras, Brandon Wright, Phil Doyle, Jason Carder, Jon Dadurka, and many more. The closing track "Bandwidth" won the 2004 John Lennon Songwriting Contest Maxell Song of the Year and was the first jazz song to win the contest.
