Album Description

On his album “Invisible Faces”, the bassist and composer Tomáš Liška revisits the style and sound of his previous successful project, “Invisible World” (2009). Liška´s own compositions (supplemented here with a Turkish folk song) are inspired by folk tunes of various origins. They oscillate between melodic lyricism and rhythmical explosiveness and create a powerful emotional experience. This exceptionally successful concert project was awarded the Audience Prize at the Czech Music Crossroads international music conference which took place during the 2017 Coulours of Ostrava festival.
