INEDITS (Single, feat. Avline Ava)
Release date: September 1st
Composed 40 years ago and recorded in 1998, this unreleased tracks are finally seeing the light of day. Back then, timid labels rejected it, claiming it sounded "too American for an African artist." A pioneer of Progressive Afro-Jazz, Cameroonian virtuoso Jay Lou Ava proves he was simply ahead of his time. Featuring the spellbinding vocals of Avline Ava, legendary basslines by the late Noël Ekwabi, and nuanced piano work by Frédéric Gaillardet, this track delivers a deeply modern, free, and timeless jazz fusion.
