I Am Here is a solo piano album by Canadian pianist and songwriter Steve Amirault, featuring twelve original compositions.

Rooted in melody and the art of songwriting, the album reflects Amirault's deeply personal style of both writing and playing. His music combines lyrical expression with the spontaneity and freedom of jazz, allowing each composition to develop naturally through improvisation.

Inspired by people, places and experiences throughout his life, the music reflects a lifetime of musical exploration, from his Nova Scotia roots to his years in New York City and Toronto, a formative period in Japan, and his longtime home of Montréal.

The title I Am Here carries a quiet sense of persistence and affirmation — after all these years, Amirault is still creating, exploring and finding new ways to express himself through music.
