Tyler Cooney and Joseph Rabjohns are two Australian jazz guitarist that draw on folk, jazz, math rock, bluegrass, finger style guitar, ambient and neo-classical music. Tyler and Joe met while studying a jazz music degrees in Brisbane. They soon realised they both shared a love for alternative rock and prog which inspired them to get together and write 'Headland' - a recording of ‘math' yet moody and highly melodic acoustic guitar music. Joseph writes and releases music under his name and with Kodiak Empire and Kieran Stevenson, and collaborates with Lachlan Dale, Qais Essar and more. Tyler writes and releases music under his name and also plays in Mosspaw, Kerbside Collection, Monsterra and more.
