Album Description
With the aim of celebrating its first decade in the best possible way, the Orquestra Jazz de Leiria challenged all guests to participate in this first album, which it named "Dez," and with which it intends to leave its mark on the history of music in Portugal.
"Dez" features guests David Fonseca, Luísa Sobral, Aurea, Maria João, Pedro Abrunhosa, Ana Bacalhau, Vânia Fernandes, Camané, Jorge Palma, Pedro Moreira, Miguel Araújo, Tomás Pimentel, Herman José, and António Zambujo, and includes an unreleased track, written by David Fonseca and arranged by César Cardoso, which is the album's single.
The repertoire on the album is based on original music, Portuguese music, and Jazz Standards, all with arrangements specifically made for the Leiria Jazz Orchestra by César Cardoso and Pedro Nobre.
