Album Description

This album documents the first encounter between US saxophonist Peter Fraize and Italian trombonist Giancarlo Schiaffini, recorded live at the now defunct State of the Union in Washington, DC. where Fraize and his trio had been hosting Monday night jam sessions for 5 years. It captures a set of freewheeling, high-energy free jazz steeped in blues and swing.
