Album Description

Guitarist, Composer, and Vocalist, Dave Ricketts explores country and folk blues genres with his October 9, 2020 release of Daddy's High Again. This remarkable debut solo album which has nine original tracks, includes two cover songs, ‘Down Bound Train’ by Chuck Berry and ‘I am Sailing’ by Memphis Minnie. Dave accompanies his country folk blues vocals with finger style guitar in the tradition of the great artists Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, and Hank Williams. Daddy’s High Again was recorded and produced by Dave at home during the Corona Virus lockdown and released on musical legend John Lennon's 80th birthday.
