Album Description

This is an album of free improvisation. However, we usually start out each improv with basic parameters in mind: tonal or atonal, lyrical or aggressive - but in many cases, we will employ a combination of approaches and develop from one set of ideas to another. Also, I may switch from C flute to bass flute, and Greg Mills might alternate freely from playing on the keys to playing inside the piano. On six of the pieces he plays soprano melodica.
