Soojin Suh Coloris Trio Soojin Suh Coloris Trio is led by Korean Creative Music artist and drummer Soojin Suh. The idea behind this trio is to have a group that works dynamically, blending their “melodic breath“ which is a principal concept from Korean traditional music. Additionally, Soojin emphasizes the narrative forms with detailed arrangements and improvisation that is derived from a breath of the melody. Therefore, in the groups album [Colorist], leader Soojin's compositions serve as a vehicle for many striking moments and newfound musical textures that come from a uniquely Korean aesthetic.
