Album Description
Blending elements of jazz, pop, latin and contemporary music, Laura Valle creates groovy uplifting songs and ballads delivered by her soothing voice and vibrant band. Charismatic is an eleven song collection of Jazz, Pop, Bossa Nova, and Soul. Featuring songs sung in Spanish, German and English, Charismatic appeals to a wide audience with sultry vocals, upbeat tempos, smooth walking bass, and expert piano melodies. Coming out of a long recording hiatus, 2015 Laura started to record original tunes at open mic sessions with Ron Kobayashi at Studio 770 in Brea, CA. That was the starting point of a new direction in Laura’s songwriting pivoting towards a stronger pop-jazz orientation after her first release “Perlas”, rooted in South American music. The second song in the album, “The Essence is Inside of You” was premiered in Youtube in November 2018 with a video that features Laura strolling along a beautiful southern California river trail while she sings about connecting with the essence of being. ” Charismatic” features upbeat and spirited songs, which touch on subjects such as human values, soul- searching and the whole spectrum of romantic relationships from passionate romance to happy -mature love and break ups.
