Album Description

Kaylene Peoples, along with an all-star cast of musicians, including Grammy-nominated bassist Bunny Brunel performs some of the season’s most cherished Christmas songs. The 5-song Latin- influenced holiday EP was recorded at The Mouse House (Electric Guitar/Engineer/Mixer/Master and multi-award-winner producer Rich Mouser). Other personnel included Tony Moore (Drums/Percussion) and Joe Calderon (Nylon Guitar). The EP ranges from Latin fusion with its title track “Carol of the Bells” to a range of “retro” 60s and 70s themes with a hint of Sergio Mendes. Filled with lush vocals, fantastically imaginative arrangements by Kaylene Peoples, who also adds her trademark flute playing in the mix.
