Album Description
The Griffin Woodard Quartet is very grateful to share Cantares 7 - Ven, Amado Mío the first single from their upcoming album, Cantares de Salomón.

Paseamos la noche en las aldeas.” - Cantares 7:11
“Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields
and lodge in the villages.” - Song of Solomon 7:11
Cantares de Salomón is the Spanish translation of the biblical book, Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Songs. It is an epic, sacred love poem written by King Solomon.
Griffin wrote this album dedicated to, and inspired by, his beautiful wife, Marbe. There is an original composition for each of the 8 chapters of the Song of Solomon, plus one additional piece, La Pulsera Roja. Each tune has a verse attached to it from the respective chapter of the Song of Solomon, and the music is intended to express the divine love contained in this holy text. A new single will be released each month, with the full album being released on October 14, 2026
