Very pleasing CD, relaxing yet progressive, helped greatly by Chris Massey’s beautiful well crafted and dynamic approach to the drums , complimented by Bill Frisell on guitar , a wizard of note choice and effects, subtle and also powerful playing by Brian Gephart adding a really nice brass overlay of sound in spacey texture, Dave Gordon on organ and piano provides the dreamy smooth backdrop of spooky chords and sustained sound throughout the tunes and some choice notes when needed. Really powerful mix of mellow and experimental jazz tinged explorative music.
