2026 – American Dream Trash is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Nu World Trash (2011). This album, recorded and mixed over two years, embodies over four decades of artistic exploration across Europe, Asia, and the United States. It highlights SoSaLa's commitment to music without boundaries and marks a significant chapter in his evolution as a New York-based musician, composer, bandleader, and activist. Jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman once recognized him as "the freest sax player in rock music," underscoring his innovative style.

The album's origins trace back to 2023, when SoSaLa reunited with the legendary multi-instrumentalist Mark C after their collaboration on 1993 (2023). Impressed by Mark C's approach to No Wave-inspired sound, SoSaLa invited him to an improvisation session at Deepsea Studio in Hoboken, New Jersey, in August 2024.

During this session, SoSaLa offered his talents on vocals, tenor sax, and various percussion instruments, while Mark C contributed vocals, electric guitar, bass loops, and synthesizers. Their dynamic collaboration led to Mark C joining the band, SoSaLa.

The album features remarkable contributions from Volker Goetze (trumpet, flugelhorn, electronics), Andy Weintraub, Ronnie Burrage, and Issa Sow (drums and percussion), as well as spoken-word artists David Belmont and Ed Haas.

2026 – American Dream Trash delivers SoSaLa's signature blend of NO WAVE rock, free jazz, noise, electronics, and World music, enriched by spontaneous lyrics and compelling spoken word. This transformative album invites listeners into an exciting realm of artistic innovation!
