Album Description
This album was born the way many true things are born: in the midst of change. It was a season of breaking and of planting new roots. My family and I left our homeland and set out for another country. It wasn’t a decision driven solely by academics or professional goals. It was something deeper. We felt called to this land. That calling didn’t begin with the journey. Long before we packed our bags, a promise had already been planted in our hearts. At first, it was just whisper—quiet, almost fragile—but it grew with time. It became a burning certainty that rose up in the middle of our cries, in the ache of prayer. And though it seemed distant, God was faithful. The promise was fulfilled not in times of calm, but in the midst of the storm. That faithfulness—greater than fear—gave us the courage to release what was familiar and step into the unknown with open eyes and a vulnerable heart. We didn’t know that this calling would also bring great trials. Migration carried us through seasons of uncertainty, scarcity, and unanswered questions. We faced invisible walls and days when it felt like there was no way forward. And yet, it was there—in that tension—that we learned to depend, to believe, to wait. In the midst of it all, we encountered people who opened doors, hands, and hearts. Through them, we saw signs of divine care, provision, and guidance—as if an unseen hand had been with us all along. From that collision between fragility and faith, these compositions were born.
Each piece is woven with what we lived, what we felt, and what we discovered about the presence of the divine—in the chaos, the distance… and the hope. This album is a testament to that journey.
A journey not only across borders, but inward.
A journey of faith. Of surrender. Of revelation.
My prayer is that, as you listen to this music, you might sense something of that presence that has sustained us: so far above us, so far beyond understanding, and yet so deeply within.
The album unfolds in three movements, each reflecting a dimension of that spiritual journey—
Three faces of the eternal: ABOVE, BEYOND, and WITHIN.
ABOVE (Isaiah 55:8–9)
Heaven speaks first. From above, an invisible voice descends and marks the beginning of the journey.
This first movement is a reminder that we are not alone — that there is a greater intention surrounding us, guiding us, calling us by name.
1. Grace
Like a soft light settling upon the earth, this piece opens the album with the gentleness of the eternal.
Grace cannot be earned; it is received. It cannot be explained — only felt.
It is a river flowing down from above to meet a thirsty soul. In every measure, you can sense a tenderness that demands nothing and gives everything.
2. Retorno
Returning to the origin is not going backwards — it is waking up.
This melody walks barefoot across the memory of the sacred.
It is the echo of a voice we once heard, still calling us home.
At its center beats a simple, profound truth: what we seek is not far away… it is waiting
for our return.
BEYOND (Romans 11:33)
There are paths the mind cannot trace. Beyond thought, beyond control, beyond explanation… there is depth. This second movement invites us to contemplate what cannot be understood, but can be sensed — the unfathomable richness of a wisdom far greater than our own. The divine does not always reveal itself; sometimes it hides softly, waiting to be found by an open heart. There, in the unexplored, we find a truth that does not speak in answers, but in wonder.
3. Retreat
Sometimes the soul is drawn into the unknown.
This piece does not seek rest, but revelation — a journey down paths that defy logic, where each step becomes an act of trust. What once seemed chaotic begins to make sense in another language: the language of the eternal. Shapes dissolve, edges soften, and a deeper intuition emerges. There is no map — but there is purpose. No answers — but there is direction.
4. Inner Realm
There is a hidden place, beyond the reach of the senses, more real than anything visible. It is an inner kingdom where eternity takes root — a sacred space where mystery is not solved, but dwelled in. This piece explores that terrain, where questions become echoes, and infinite wisdom rises like quiet peace. The divine is not only above or beyond — it pulses within, deep at the center of our being.
WITHIN (John 14:23)
There comes a moment in the journey when the longing for the eternal no longer looks upward or outward — it looks inward. This final movement speaks not of seeking, but of dwelling. The distance fades. Mystery becomes familiar. The divine no longer descends from above; it rises from within, makes a home, stays. Here, the sacred is not fleeting or elusive. It is a living presence that walks with us, that shares our table and our silence, that lives within our ordinary days with a steady light. This is not the end of the journey — this is where we finally arrive… home.
5. Dwell
The sacred does not always come like a flash of lightning.
Sometimes it shows itself in the quiet decision to stay. This piece is a celebration of the presence that does not pass by, but remains. Each note affirms intimacy — a love that does not visit, but inhabits. Here, home is no longer a physical place, but a willing heart. God does not merely draw near… He builds a house in the middle of the everyday, and lights a fire that never dies.
6. La Nueva Jerusalén
This is not just a distant destination or a future city in the sky. It is the promise of a divine dwelling that descends and becomes present — here, now, within. The New Jerusalem is not a glorious ending, but an intimate arrival: the presence that chooses to stay, heaven touching earth… and the heart. This music does not announce a farewell, but a fusion: the eternal finding its home in the human. Every chord opens a door. Every silence, a threshold. This is not the close of the journey, but the moment when everything — at last — begins to remain.
