Quick Facts, was released in 1989 in Brazil by Polygram via Caju Music, and remastered re-released in 2008 by Catman Records Inc. in 2008 Catalano's first album, Recorded in Rio and NY, Featured the top musicians from both countries, collaborating on Catalano's songs. Groovin Along track 1, features Cornell Dupree, legendary guitarist, other special guests include Mark Egan-Fretless Bass and Steve Gadd, Drums on "Wishing you were here", and Raf's Theme/City Theme. A little trivia, the song "The Reality" a Mike Catalano composition, features Maucha Adnet and Lizzie Bravo singing in a sort of Jobim style of the era, Adnet was part of Jobim's band. Lizzie was best known for singing with The Beatles on "Across the Universe", (its a well known story well documented more info around the web). The album was Originally release in Brazil in the late 80's on Polygram/Caju Music and was re-released on Catalano's Catman Records Label in 2008.
