Album Description
"a restless night" talks about sleeping nights that are 4-6 hours long, when the eyes stare the dark soil, the mind travels following memories, desires, worries and disillusion. The main idea of the composer is not to describe a disease. The intention is to celebrate this lack of sleep finding it stimulating and creative. The whole album has been recorded in one long session on July 2020 where Mosolo decided to play everything was coming in mind. Some tunes are free improvisations, some other are minimal and essential compositions, some songs were written years before and completely rearranged during the session. The result is a kind of soundtrack for nocturnal visions and mental journeys.
