She veers from her mainstay world jazz repertoire to pay homage to the roots of her pop-punk past with a 3-part Trilogy. Old school meets the digital age. Allison’s fourth album RETRO Trilogy, recorded in New York under producer Matt Pierson, is her personal retrospective of self identity within Gen X-Y-Z culture, and the human experience ending a Millennium, with jazz re-imaginings of iconic music from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. 18 tracks rolled out as 3 EPs “1977”, “1988”, and “1999”, and then released as one album.
